So finally the day that I've been waiting so long for has finally arrived! Wiz Khalifa along with six other of my favorite artists has come to Dallas to perform at his Under The Influence concert. This was probably the best night of my life and I got to spend it with my besties and many other old friends that I ran into at the concert. :) Definately put me in a better mood for a while. I couldn't have asked for a better way to conclude my crazy summer!
Well after visiting family and enjoying some activities it was time to head on home! The picture of the Big Indian is a massive statue that we always pass in Oklahoma. By the time we got to Dallas, all the rain was gone and we were back to humid hot weather!
After a hefty breakfast at Cracker Barrel with my grandparents, my dad took my sis and I to a gun range. Of course this made me a little nervous considering I know people can be crazy but at least now I know how to lock and load! :)
I personally love learning about history and what made America the way it is now. Saying that, my dad took me along with my sister and grandparents to Fort Osage. Fort Osage was where one of the many battles of the Civil War occurred. You could even go over the bridge where the soldiers fought and marched across. It was a very exciting tour. (:
Out of all the days of the week, my dad picked the hottest one to go play some golf! Yay!!! Thank God there was a clubhouse that I could sit in while my sister and dad hit some balls. I'm more of a soccer girl so golfing for me gets frustrating and boring.
As tradition, my Dad brought my sister and I to Twin Drive-In Theater to see Grown Ups 2 which was funny but wayyyyyyy too short! The second movie we saw was Pacific Rim which really just annoyed me instead of entertaining.
One of my favorite things to do while in Independence is go enjoy some food at a drive in restaurant called Mugs Up which is famous for their rootbeers and whiz burgers (:
